Bought my Deering Goodtime here. Nice and helpful service. Good atmosphere and all their banjos are tuned up and ready. Very sad to hear that they will no longer be stocking banjos - only guitars. |

Great for clawhammer. Pretty much plays itself. Clear and clucky with a farmyard feel. |

Setup

Banjo was set up when bought and perfectly adequate. I put on some heavier gauge strings, a denser bridge (make unknown) and it has a deeper more mellow sound now. |

Would recommend to anyone wanting a great banjo to learn clawhammer. It'll be a long time before you want to upgrade from this banjo. |
