Sound

This banjo is what you want in bluegrass music. It's got the mellow tone to play hard driving bluegrass. / The best set up is when you've got stings that you like such as in my case J.D. Crowe lights, and a Scorpion bridge.

Sound

This banjo suits my music style through Hard Driving Bluegrass... The best set up is J.D. Crowe Light's strings and a Scorpion Bridge with action play. Rich, Full, And Loud. This banjo plays great from the lowest notes to the highest. Like a Granada or PreWar Gibson.

Setup

This Banjo when bought had a horrible setup. I got Tom McKinney and Jack Dilling to help me get it set up. It Took about 3hrs to set up to a beast.
I would recommend Scorpion Brideges They let you play with Strength and don't move around to get out of tune.

This Banjo Is and Absolute Beauty with Tigers Maple Wood on the back and on the neck. The only thing negative is the banjo rim is getting a stained dirty.

Reliability

The hardware will last forever. The finish is great everywhere it will last becuase it has been taken great care of. The Arm Rest has a lot of wear on it and I'm allergic to Nickle Plating. But it's all good. I really can depend on this Banjo to Go perform or out play many banjo's at a Jam.

I would recommend this Banjo to a Pro Becuase I've had many Great Bluegrass Muscians want to by This Banjo Off of me. "May'be becuase of the set up." I would lose my Mind if this banjo was stolen Becuase it would Retail Double as what I paid for it. I would have had no Questions to the Dealer. I've played Hubers, Granada's PreWar's master Model Custom banjo's all that Cost 5,000 to 20,000 dollar. All are Great But i love my banjo. :)
