I've got mixed feelings about this neck. On one hand, it's sharp-looking, made (mostly) to my specifications, plays well, and was inexpensive. On the other hand the final sanding and finish (which is nitro when I asked for oil) have a lot of flaws, and the fit to the pot (which he did) and setup were terrible (I had to replace the 5th string pip and re-cut the heel). I gave the builder an extra eight months as in hopes he wouldn't rush things, but I guess it didn't mater. I hate posting a negative review but I wish I could've read this before ordering. You get what you pay for. |
