Its mohogany with a straight grain maple neck. Its more of a brown than red. Distressed. It will fool alot of people into thinking it from the 1930s |

The great attribute of Yates banjos is that they are ALL consistently GREAT. I have yet to hear or play one that I wouldn't love to have. That's the only maker that I can say that for. |
