Setup

because I have a heavy hand and attack, I had to have the nut shimed to raise the action up at the nut, I also had the banjo spiked at the 7th and 9th frets, nothing else

Appearance

the banjo presents itself well, when you pick it up, you can feel the quality and it has a matte finish, which I love, the neck is very fast, and it notes clean, clear and true, the response is fantastic!

Reliability

I have been playing as a professional off and on since 1977 this banjo is as road and gig worthy as any banjo I have owned!

Overall Comments

I quit trying to keep count of all the banjos ive ownd since 1974, I am way over 100. and this rk 35, especially for the price, is the most impressive new banjo, I have ever encounterd, I like it better than the upper models, I wish I had a dozen of them, good job greg rich, and thanks to john boulding for getting me hooked on it,
