Sound
|
Sounds good for a banjolele. After minor set-up and tune-up, it sounds as good as the Gold Tone banjolele. It has a plunky banjo sound.

This banjolele needed a little tightening and setup, but easy to do. |

Appearance

For the price, it's a pretty banjo ukulele. It's a concert scale, which I like. It is easier to play. It's made of hard maple with a smooth brown satin finish. smooth. Has position dots and side dots on the neck and neck bindings. The hardware, including the rim rod and tuners are antique brass. The fiberskyn head has a nice vintage look like calf skin. |

I think that the hardware and finish are very good. It sounds as good as any banjo uke. Compares well to a Gold Tone I tried, but not as shiny. |

I reall do like the brass old-timey look. Nothing weak that I can see. |
