I have to say that Kelly's bridges are the best I have ever tried bar none! I have tried most all of them that look like they are anywhere worth their weight at all and Kelly's outperforms them all. I ordered the Vintage Tone first as a trial for my 84 Scruggs but I made the mistake of ordering the wrong height so this one got fitted on my RB75. It made an already great sounding instrument much better with tons more volume and cured some intonation problems as well! So I reordered for my Scruggs except this time I opted for the Sweet II. And once again it made a good sounding instrument outstanding! I always felt my old Scruggs had what it takes but I never could quite unlock the code! I fully believe I have with these bridges. I can personally recommend The Emerson Bridges to anyone who is looking for a "Performance Kit" for their banjo! These will definitely "Turbo Charge" to order |

This is a really fine banjo bridge. I had volume problems on some strings, where they just didn't sound as loud as the others - this bridge sorted it out and all strings sound even and crisp. I've used this and the Vintage Tone (same style different wood) for two years, and although I have other makes (Farquhar, Snuffy Smith) I always go back to the Emerson ones. Nothing matches it. |
