Really easy to use compared to other capos I've had and a very clever design. The only downsides are that it can be knocked out of position by an errant finger and it is pretty expensive. |

This is the second G7 capo I've had. In just a few months, the first one broke and wouldn't release. First Quality replaced it no questions asked and did it very quickly. They are what their name states - First Quality. The second one broke again today for no apparent reason in the middle of a performance, same problem as before. They are cool looking, do the job and are easy to adjust when it works, but at that price and past history, I think they need to go back to the drawing board. I won't be getting another one. |

I bought this capo used, having before it used a Shubb Deluxe with which I was quite satisfied -- just thought I'd give the G7 a whirl. I was completely unprepared for how much I'd prefer the G7! Handling it took a little getting used to [at first I found the smooth, rounded design a little bit hard to hold on to and manipulate with one hand -- maybe some sort of rubberized coating would be something the maker could consider], but the mechanism is smoooooth as glass. It rarely throws my banjo sharp and stays in place nicely. When not in use, I clamp it on my banjo's dowelstick. |

This allegedly revolutionary capo is perfectly adequate and nothing more. It tends to slide around the neck a little, is awkward to remove, and at $40 is horribly overpriced. A regular spring style guitar capo works just as well if not better. Cheaper too. |

This Capo is great, it does the opposite of most spring capo's I've tried - you press it onto the strings to lock it, and press the lever to release it.
It's a great piece of kit that is small and tidy. It works really well, and I don't think I'll use anything else.
It is real small. |

I've used many capoes through the years, but this one is the best I've seen yet. It is pretty fast to use and does a great job of not pulling the first string out of tune. Very happy with it. I've had it several months, and I'm hoping it will be durable. |
