I wanted to spread the word about this amazing artist. He just came out with a new album called Fever Pitch, but his other albums are the reason I picked up the banjo. I've seen him playing in person several times. His fingers move so fast the only thing I could compare it to is the flapping of a hummingbird's wings. You know they're moving but you can't see them. I also know that he uses an odd tuning that he came up with. I've tried to pick out some of his songs, but some of the songs are to fast for me.
