B&D Silver Bells are in a class by themselves. The name says it all...they REALLY ring like a bell!! Loud and crisp but never shrill. I have played a Silver Bell of one kind or another since my days at Your Father's Mustache in the sixties and I'm not about to change. |

Setup
|
This #2 was not set up when bought, but was in under-the-bed [long storage] condition with a deteriorated calfskin head in place. I had Dale Small set it up and it is now perfect. |

Appearance
|
The #2 Silver Bell has always been my personal favorite for its real silver plating and carved heel. This one was in professional use back in the day, but shows virtually no wear. Even the finish on the neck is perfect. Amazing quality: built in 1925 and it still looks new. |
