Sound
|
The sound of this thing is awesome. Sharp as a razor, and clear as a bell. This thing has a really full and bright tone. |

Setup
|
My settup is the same as Ralph Stanley's and Steve Sparkmans', no adjustments needed when I got it. |

Appearance

Awesome curly maple on this one, just can't beat it. Style 5 engraving, purfling and marquetry on the back of the peghead. Wreath pattern inlays. 20's style Granada finish. By the way the finish is awesome too. |

Components

NO weak parts or cheapies on this one. The Style 5 appointments make this thing very easy to look at, sometimes I get lost in its beauty!! Cox no hole ring, rim and resonator, beautiful neck with wreath inlays, best neck I've ever played! |

This is the best banjo I've ever played, if it were stolen I'd call Frank first thing. I love this thing, it rocks!!!! Compared to all other banjos I've played, including prewars, this one comes out on top. |
