Well it was the Beverley Hillbillies tv series that got me into playing the banjo, until then I'd never even heard of bluegrass music, I wonder who else started then, & maybe like me got all the wrong banjo's at first, one had nice name ie. 'Maybelle' but neck was only 1 foot long, enjoyed antics of 'Hillbillies to, thanks.
