She saw ONE episode, a TV rerun of Adam West, and became an instant fan.
So I improvised a costume. A graduation gown from the thrift shop on half-price day was plenty of cloth. The ears are hand-stiched over a couple of pieces cut rom a plastic milk jug. The ears and the cape were fastened to a plastic head band from the 99Cent store.
She already had the Batman sunglasses.
The whole outfit cost me under $6, and she's as happy as she'd be with a store-bought rig for $30.
