That's the original Mountaineer prototype. I've never seen another one, and I think they were never produced. I did the design, so they sent me the prototype.
It does sound good, indeed.

When I first saw it -- i did a double take. The way it's positioned in the picture there, I (at first) thought that it had some sort of 10th fret tuner on the treble side of the neck before I realized that was the doorknob of the door behind you!!!
I think I need new glasses!

It's a very sweet sounding archtop. I gave it to mydaughter last summer; she plays, and has wanted it for years, and I finally decided it was time to let her have it.
