Stunning. I think think the no 7 inlays are the most iconic of all the golden age open back banjos. I have a doug unger no7 style, a 1908 Fairbanks no 7 with a repro lefty neck and a 1923 vega no7 also with a lefty no7 neck. Is there any cure for my infatuation for no7 style banjos?? |

Hi Glen....yes....this banjo deserves some finer photography. My guy is fine, he just seems to have rushed this session or farmed it out to his girlfriend.
We will reshoot at some point. This banjo has not been restored or touched up. The tuners were changed out to help minimize any future cracking in the dyed pearwood peg head overlay. |
