Hi Jimmy, What year is your Paramount Aristocrat? Is it a tenor or plectrum? I have a 1928 plectrum also with a clear head. Great sounding banjos. Kind regards, Bob Ferrier

1928--I currently have a 5-string neck I got off e-bay on it. It sounds so good, I'm having a 5-string neck built for it a little later this year, using the original peg-head overlay and fingerboard inlays and original fig-8 tuning keys, pearl buttons and all. I may put the old Paramount belt buckle tailpiece on it when it's finished, haven't decided yet. Jim

I'd like to try a 5-string neck on my Stromberg at some point. It's good to know someone who can build you a neck. We're pretty limited for that sort of thing here in Western Massachusetts. Happy pickin'!
