Thats about U$S 30,000 grand at least sittin right there if its a reasl Loar signature. You know I have heard that not all of the Loar mandolins are really that great sound wise...some yes others no. Bills Loar in particular was a one of a kinder.

It's more like 250K and it is real.......I know the man that owns it today. I have played a few Loars in my day, with most of them belonging to the man that owns this one now. This is the best sounding Loar (to my ears) that I have personally played.......it will almost play itself!

2nd what robby said, have played that mando several times, the man that has it now said it was the closest to monroes hes ever played, its a killer! btw that photo was taken early- mid 90s
