My bagpipes were made by Douglas MacPherson, in Forfar, back in the 80s. He made several sets for the Wick Pipe Band in the far north of Scotland back then, and I was lucky enough to be around when one of them was leaving and wanted to sell his set. The Confederate custom cover is, of course, my own personal touch, made by BagpipeCovers.com

There's a really good uilleann pipe make near you in Scotland near fort William called Gordon Galloway. Makes beautiful pipes. Mine were in holly and purpleheart
I watched your video, that's some very nice playing! Yeah, Fort William is nice, I haven't been, but me and my girlfriend often contemplate moving over there. I noticed that you use past tense when you talk about your pipes, does that mean you don't play them anymore?

No I gave them up as I wasn't very good and I began playing 5 string banjo
Oh that's a shame, I thought you were pretty good with them! I hope, and have a feeling, that someday you will reconsider and get back to them, even if it is in a distant future. But the banjo is also an amazing instrument, so you traded them for something good too.
