neck woods

Posted 11/22/2007 5:24:22 PM

Do different neck woods make a difference? I think they do. This photo depicts nine different wood types I use. In no particular order, from left to right: 1) Koa; 2) Hickory; 3) Walnut; 4) Mahogany; 5) Dogwood; 6) Cherry; 7) Rosewood; 8) Maple; 9) Lacewood. Not shown, 10) Birch.

Anybody else notice this?  All the necks are... LEFT HANDED!  That or the photo is a reverse image.  VERY beautiful work, by the way.

If the photo was a reverse image, wouldn't the numbers be backward?
