1890's SSS Thoroughbred

Posted 7/29/2012 3:40:02 AM

I got this banjo years ago from John Bernunzio while living in New York. It is one of the cleanest examples of a Thoroughbred I've found and is all original except for the period tail piece complete with ivory rosette. I lost interest in this piece and John Balch traded for it at one point only for us to cut a trade years later to get it back. John and I have traded more banjos than I can count. He has always had a good eye and has been the owner of countless fine banjos that passed through both of our hands.
