Was tuned in double C while perusing this thread so I thought, why not give it a try. My take is a bit different and I'm wondering if I didn't drift into a different song, LOL. So, here's another submission from the wannabee gallery.

Thanks Ken. Yeah, that's hot thread Joemac got going with lots of good submissions including a CH from JanetB. All are at least a bit different but most are in standard tuning (except Don Borchelt's in D tuning) so I thought I'd make mine in a different tuning as well since I didn't know the song before the thread and anything I would have learned in standard would have been pretty similar to other posts. |

Appreciate the comments John. It was fun trying to work it out, and it took me a couple of days just to get the parts where I wanted them. Then lots of playing and a bunch of takes to at least get it listenable. |

Thanks Michael. I'm with you on the "growl", and I think it added a little something different on this tune. |

Thanks Janet. I'm wondering now if one of the reasons I stumbled figuring out a ~CH rendition was that I was in Double C and just having a heck of a time getting the notes downpicking, especially since I don't drop thumb to compensate. Once I tried 3 finger it wasn't too long before I got some basic notes in double C. |
