This is one of the songs my band Trespassers Will recorded several years ago. We were sort of a rock band but I liked to play banjo in it. In this song I'm doing some stuff inspired by Bach. My band frequently didn't know what to think of my ideas but I think this one worked.

This is my wife on piano and I playing a sort of duet for Clemente's Opus 36. With the help of John McEuen I learned this song and then learned it a different way to play with my wife, then came up with this arrangement to give the song a duet kind of feel.

This is the EBM run through an amp. The amp was set for however i played it last, I think maybe there is some reverb on it but no real EQ tweaking was going on, basically this is how is sounds when you plug it in and turn on the amp. I think i had both pickups going at this time.

This is how the EBM sounds unplugged, it's pretty quiet but definitely not silent, it can be played this way with a guitar and still be heard. It's kind of an odd sound unplugged but it's definitely not unpleasant.

This is one of several songs I did with the UK techno artist Dark Blue Man. It started with me playing that Paganini Violin Caprice everyone knows and then Dark Blue Man doing his techno magic with it. It is popular in several of the dance clubs in the UK and I think he's put it out on an album of his. It's experimental so be prepared for something WAY different from what you're used to thinking the banjo is.

This is my version of PWS. I remember learning if from (I think) an Emmylou Harris album back in the 70's. A few years back I was experimenting with some home recording stuff and layered in some vocals, harmonies and the instruments. It sounds ok I guess for the amount of time I spent on it.
