Sounds like the first part of Woodshoppers Reel. Nice. My husband just found out that his great-grandfather was born in Belfast, so now I'm excited that he can say he's Irish! |

Pleased to find a rendition of this on the BHO as I am learning it (on 5 string). Confusingly there are 2 totally different tunes both called Belfast Hornpipe; the other Belfast is a 2-part tune in key of G). This one you're playing si the 1 I was after and is also called Sweep's Hornpipe. However, there are also 3 different tunes called Sweep's Hornpipe- the other 2 are English tunes. Ibiblio online helped me work that out. |
