i've put in a few harmony notes along with the melody, ie double stops. not entirely traditional approach. Please excuse the numerous fluffed notes. i must practice more!

i think i've remained faithful to the melody while adding some extra notes to make it more 'banjonic'. tuning is DBGDa

Here's a tune I made up recently. I think it might be a good one? but what does anyone think? banjo in Gminor tuning. I like the chord progression and the melody is very open to interpretation. Constructive critiscism welcome.

Cobley was a timber cutter and stockman who, as the story goes, used this tune to keep the mob quiet at night.

i've tried to stay close to the melody that a fiddle or 4 string banjo player would play, i guess i could call the picking approach 'celtic fingerstyle' . i've got 62 of these tunes available in book with cd and tabs if anyone's interested

This is a tune i wrote before i learnt to play clawhammer style. it seems to suit clawhammer better than 3 finger. my good friend Ian Tritt played guitar.
