Buffalo Gals was the first song I learned on the banjo. It was a much simpler version than yours but I love your arrangement!! Very well done Steve.

Thanks,John. It's fun to play around with simple songs.I played this essentially the same way for a friend a few weeks ago and he said "that was nice, what was it?" I told him and he laughed and said"Oh,yeah!" |

Very nice sound on your banjo. What type of tone ring and strings are you using, if you don't mind me asking? |

Wow, for some reason the sound was almost a whisper even though I had the volume up all the way! Weird... a quiet banjo! |

I just plugged my pickup directly into the computer. I wonder if I should have used a pre-amp. |

It sounded pretty good, Steve, just really quiet. I could tell some good tone was coming out of it, though. |

Thanks,Matthew. Buffalo Gals was done on the new Cox. The others were done on the tb2 conversion. Both have Jones pickups, but sound different from each other. |
