Decided to learn this tune when I heard on totw. Since then i've picked certain parts from various interpretation and from the posts from totw. Now it is what it is, one of my favorites to play.

Wades version is a little different, but I like playing it.
Helps to read instructions... Moved a button on my recording device and it makes my banjo sound more true now. Would have been nice to know, but instruction books can be be an inch thick for god sakes :)

Chattanooga, is it?...Wanted to learn a new tune today...had a good listen to the different versions on the TOTW week thread and really enjoyed the tune. So with what i absorbed today, I sat down tonight and I came up with this....kind of hesitant to call it Chattanooga..am I in the ball park?

Fartn around in this tuning with a different tune, and started to come up with this take of Reubens a few days ago. Still little ruff...just found out this is the usual reubens tuning, go figure. Like what I got goin so far, good slow or fast.

Some tunes just grab me, as simple as it is I play it often..sometimes slow sometimes hard driving. This version I learned from John Burkes, that someone put up for download. Can't say my playing of it is very close to the tab now.

This tune has been i'm my head as long as I can remember, has different names to. Had to try and work it out on the banjo. Could use some work and filling chords I think.
Much better when singing along with but my singing is worse then my playing :)
CHORUS :
