When I first started banjo I thought I was going to be a 3 finger picker. This is the only tune I learned to play in the 3 finger style. Played on a Chuck Lee Rose Hill with William Dawnstar on guitar.

Learned from Elizabeth Cotton. I don't sing but MS Cotton sings it nicely right along with the melody of the tune. The Lyrics are:
