My first banjo's name is Musima. It was like a Gitjo (or Banjitar) before I remade it on 5-string Banjo. Now it has 5 strings but 6 tuners, so one tuner stays empty. This is my first record where I sing and play banjo, it's a song of "The Osborne Brothers" band! I like this song very much, because I also love to play banjo like in that lyrics :)

I always liked this song very much, especially perfomed by "Metallica" and "Dubliners" too.
So I've tryed to create my own version of this traditional irish song using my banjo and singing by myself

This is my first song's arrangement for banjo!
I desided to add some banjo to this song and I've made it!
My friend Alex Kartoyev has made full arrangement for me, he also played guitar parts.
Please forgive me, may be my accent is not perfect, I don't know about it, because English is not my own laguage, but it my favorite language :)

(The beautiful rock ballad named Windmill always was one of my favorites. It was perfomed by the German power metal band "Helloween" and taken from their album "Chameleon" (1993).)

Khorezm(Uzbek) traditional song named "Qora Guz"(Kora Kuz) or just "Lazgi" , played on American banjo. You can hear there some Uzbek instruments in arrangement. All guitar parts played, arrangement and mixing by my friend Alexander Kartoyev. And me on banjo, of course. We tryed to create a spirit of my country, Uzbekistan in this music, so it is very different then Western country sound. So, WELCOME TO UZBEKISTAN!

This is the first song that I wrote in country style for banjo. At first it was written in Russian language by myself. And now I'm happy that I can sing it in English too! This English version of lyrics for this song was written for me by my Banjo Hangout friend - Mike Gregory! I want to thank him very much for his great work about my Russian lyrics to translate it in English! So his name will appear on my future banjo CD where I add this song if you'll appreciate my performance of it. It is so great to creating real song together with my friend from another side of the Earth! All banjo parts by me; guitar, arrangement, record and mixing were done by Alexander Kartoyev who made my previous records too. Hope to see your comments here (especially about what you imagine while listening this song). It is very important and interesting for me :)

Thanks to George Sobolev (he is also BHO member) for making real banjo arrangement for this great Russian tune! When I've heard it in the fist time I was wondering how Russian song could sounds when he played it on American banjo! I asked him to send me his banjo tabs and I've learned it and then Alex played it with me on his guitar!

This is the Virtual Country Jam "V Lesu Rodilas' Yolochka" ("A Christmas Tree") from Russian musicians from different parts of the USSR! Inspired by my playing of the famous New Year song on banjo which I posted here before!
It was recorded through the internet and then mixed together! The musicians never been played together in the real life and they never saw each other, only in the internet.
