Hi all! I'm new to the community and this is my first blog entry. does anyone have a hartford model banjo that they have tuned low the way he did. I understand he tuned to E flat, I think, and he even used different strings? 2 wound strings? I always wondered how he got that deep mellow sound. Anyone tried it? If so, what strings do you use?
