I seldom play in A tuning, but the other day I capoed at the 2nd fret on my Sommerset S-2 banjo, and wow! What a fantastic sound! It is almost as if the banjo was made for this tuning! Shame on me for not trying this earlier! I like this so much I might as well keep the banjo in A.
