I've owned a Deering Calico since 1983. I make my own bridges, and Kyle K. Smith does the setup work. I am really pleased with the range of sounds I can coax out of it. I recently bought a Dojo. It's great for a change of pace on stage.

I just received a copy of "Banjo Newsletter." One of this month's feature articles is a review of the new CD, "Many A Mile," by Eddie & Martha Adcock with Tom Gray - written by yours truly. It's followed by Ian Perry's detailed tab arrangement of Eddie's "Nightwalk", and a good article by Janet Davis about the backup on "Two Little Boys."
