The last Carolina Chocolate Drops concert

At least that's how they described it. Justin Robinson is retiring because he's tired of the road and wants to resume his education. A new member, Hubby Jenkins was instroduced -- he plays mandolin, guitar, and banjo. A fourth is also planned but I didn't get the name.
The setting was beautiful. The Allen Room at Lincoln Center is on the 6th floor and the wall behind the perrformers is two stories of glass from floor to cieling. The view was breath-taking and of course the concert was wonderful. I have a longer post on the subject, including a set list, in the Other Banjo Related Topics forum.
Justin will certainly be missed! |
