Rk 75 elite
Saturday, October 08, 2011 @1:36:56 PM
Just picked up a used one for a great buy! Have spent a week with it and I am very impressed! Neck needs shaved down a bit to match my hatfield. Other than that very nice banjo for the money. Real solid back up for road use. Hope everyone is having a good end of summer.

I tried an RK 35 out once, I can just imagine what the RK 75 is like!!! Are you still out on the road as much? |

Yes its a very impressive banjo. An yeah up until the last week or so I have been super busy on the road. But its fixin to slow down for the winter. That means locked away with the banjos for a few months. LOL |

Those Elites are great banjos for the $$. Once you get to the 35 level, all of them have the same pot assembly. The Elite necks are 'full' in shape compared to the Hatfield profile. I just got an endorsement deal from RK and I actually chose the RK-35 instead of the Elite. I wanted something simpler looking (that and the Elite looks just like my Gibson, which would make it jealous, haha). Im getting the first Mahogany Rk-35. How has the road been treating you? I look forward to the winter and some rest, haha. |

Unless something has changed and that could be, that profile should be the same as a Hatfield. I fact one of Arthur's neck was sent to China to copy. That's the way mine is but that may have changed. K |

Kenny that's what I thought you had said before. But there no mistaking with this one. It's definitely not as thin of a profile as my hatfield. But it will be. |
