Tennessee Waltz

Saturday, June 06, 2009 @6:33:05 PM

I just started learning Tennessee Waltz from my Janet Davis Ultimate Banjo Song Book and am really enchanted with it.  There are a couple of licks that are very steel guitar like and the waltz time makes a synchopated rythm that is really flowing and cool.  I hope I can get it nice and smooth.  At the slower tempo clean playing will be a must.

Hi - I have an arrangement of Solace by Scott Joplin - it is in the key of G.
