My first Blog

| Just thought I'd create a blog since I ain't got nothing else much to do. Tonight is a regular Jam at a farmhouse out in Rochelle, GA. I really enjoy this particular jam, it's small, all are regulars and we all despise each other, naw I'm kidding, we get along really well and have lots of friendly banter. It's kind of funny, we have a really good banjo player so they don't need me to plunk along, I play dobro with this group so I don't have to do much most of the time until I take a break or do some fill work behind the vocalist. What's funny is on Saturday nights I play a music house and I'm normally the only banjo player there and they all complain about me being so loud and stepping on their breaks (as if they actually owned the breaks, huh). So tonight I get to play dobro and complain about Gary (the Banjo Player and a real good'un) being too loud and stepping on my breaks. Cool! |
