The Mike Seeger Commemorative 4th ANNUAL OLD TIME BANJO FESTIVAL will take place on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19. Artists include:
Tony Trischka- Master of multiple old time banjo styles, minstrel thru bluegrass
Cheick Hamala Diabate- West African Griot, master of Ngoni (predecessor of banjo)
Adam Hurt- The next generation of old time.
Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer- Grammy winning duo playing cello banjo, banjo ukulele, 5 string and other hybrids
Frank Fairfield - A new voice in old music with spellbinding vocals and unique banjo style
The BIG Banjo Orchestra - From bass banjo to piccolo banjo, Marcy Marxer will present an amazing orchestra emulating the sounds of the early 1900's

Contest & mini concert @ HMT Judges include Adam Hurt, Beth Hartness. Contest winner performs that evening at the Birchmere. Mini concert artist TBA Contest Winner performs that evening at the Birchmere.
