Here We Go Again

Tuesday, July 17, 2012 @2:20:25 AM

I am up early this morning getting ready to go to the hospital for a whole body contrast scan.  Infection has returned and an abscess has formed in my wrist once again.  They tell me that I may be admitted to the hospital for some agressive IV meds after surgery later this week.  This is and has been such a nightmare for me and my family, I cannot tell you how I feel about all of this.  I am hopeful, yet very frustrated and at times even down right pissed off about it.  To think I just got off an IV PICC line and wound vac, to having the possibility of them returning is killing me.

I am thankful that I got healed up enough to put on our Jam and had that experience.  I will hang on to those memories and use them as fuel to remain sain and willing to continue my journey with the banjo.  It is so hard to have missed 6 months of pickin time, just to start again and really be getting into some serious practice and now get another set back.

Regarless of what I decide in the future, I want to thank all of my friends here for the things you have tought me, and that is not all banjo related, and for the support, love and friendship.  There is no better group of people anywhere in the world than right here on the hangout.

Thanks everyone. Dr. thinks it has not gestated to the point it had last time. He opened up the area that busted open yesterday, cleaned it very well and cartilized it with silver nitrate to close the cells. He feels I will see improvement within the next two weeks. Your support to me is as valuable as money in the bank. Thanks again.
