Cut my finger playing Cripple Creek

Wednesday, June 13, 2012 @7:00:22 PM

I am very pleased!  I played Cripple Creek so much that I cut my finger doing the slide so much.  It is really coming together for me. It takes awhile and I know that practice makes perfect.  I still want to sit with someone and have them show me how it all goes together, but may get there myself first.  I love the banjo!

When you get to Nashville and you're on the street demonstrating your banjo skills and a distressed tourist or two comes up to you and asks, "How do you get to the Ryman?" You tell 'em, "Practice man, practice."
