First time banjo player

Well,I got my first banjo and been trying to play it for about 3 hours a day.I have no more long finger nails and the tips of my fingers hurt a little.I think I have small callous.Bummer.I am trying to play Foggy Mountain Breakdown.It sound like a 2 year old playing on it,but I am having so much fun trying it.Gonna try to play a song for my mules.They may run a way.lol

I now can play Foggy Mountain Breakdown about half way and as slow as a slug.I think that would make a great title song "Slow As A Slug". I had just got some new finger picks,but would like to order some little maggie picks for women.They have hearts on them.lol |

Cesar has been helping me a lot.I have the best husband in the world.He has to put up with a lot.Cesar is playing it too,he is much better then me.He plays the keyboard ect.Thank you for selling the banjo to me. |
