Which Planetary Tuners are Better ?
Saturday, August 04, 2012 @10:10:32 AM
I am considering either Waverly or Gotohs. I am new to the Banjo world so I am not sure. Both Tuners go for around the same price, and each have an Excellent Reputation and Quality. I am leaning toward the Gothos only because I had them on a Guitar and had no problem. Maybe I am wrong ? Forget Keith Tunners, they are way out of my price range. There are so many good quality tuners out there, maybe I should go with something else altogether ?

the Waverly tuners have a different type 5th string tuner. I have 2 banjos with the waverly tuners and really like them. They are standard on some new banjo's. GC |

I failed to mention, I am not replacing the 5th tuner, it is fine, just the 4 other. I know Waverly have a good name, thanks. |
