had this banjo a long time, got A weaver maker stamped on the top of the perchrod,its got the shield,here's the spec'....hoop depth..60mm..dia'..310mm, neck is 35mm wide at the 1st fret, has a long heel ,ebony fretboard and 17 thin frets(room for 2 more !). it has square nuts inside and out with integral washers(26).not original pegs.tailpiece,or bridge. oh and the head is 60 mm at the widest point and125mm down to the nut. any information would be great .cheers people !

willl sort some pictures out soon,just learnt about weavers and im desperate to learn more, i was told by a "specialist" about 30 years ago that this" A Weaver" probably worked for clifford essex and stole the parts !!!! |
