New banjos

| Im temporary guardian of two banjos rescued from my father in laws house that burned this week. He's ok. That's all keeping my wife going.
She wants me to play the songs he used to in hopes he'll play along.
I know...long shot. But..i cared after my great uncle star for 11years after a stroke. He could not talk, but put a guitar in his hands and a hank Williams song and he coyld sing and play. But I digess.
Ive dried them out quickly, loosened the strings and carefully clamped the necks to straight oak planks. I have them in the ac drying out. So short exposure to water i think they will be fine. One says pifer special senorota and the other wmLange paramount stylea both tenor. Thanks |
