Find a good teacher and take lessons. You'll learn faster with fewer bad habits to break.

I Found a teacher and I will be seeing him every other Monday. Making progress slowly but surely. I had someone 2 weeks ago tell me I am too old to start. I hate being told I can do something. Couple that with going to the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and I cant be stopped. |

I discovered 2 online sources that are very informative: banjobenclark.com, and rocket science banjo. Banjo ben is $5 per month, and RSB is by donation. I have been using banjo ben to learn some basic rolls- his videos are good quality and very easy to understand :) |
