Back from the hospital...again...with Joshua..

Saturday, July 21, 2012 @7:50:35 AM

Little Joshua developed a severe case of Jaundice on Wednesday so he had to be admitted again for observation regarding his weight which was really low. The hospital staff  put him under a flourescent heat lamp next to my wifes bed for about 36 hours to bring the jaundice levels down to a minimum. We also are mixing a bit of formula with his breastfeeding to bring his weight back up. I am pleased to say after two full nights of prayer and crying out to God on his behalf Wed and Thurs night, He is fully recovered and his weight is slowly and steadily rising and he is feeding much better and sleeping better. I having been so busy tied up in all of this I havent even touched my banjos in all week so I am really in need of my banjers to get some relief.

Eric, congratulations to you and your wife....I'm glad Joshua is perking up.....pretty soon you won't be able to keep up with him!! Rick P.S. Went to see Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers last night....awesome!!!!! I was amazed at how well he plays clawhammer in addition to Scruggs style.

Glad things are better Eric. Sometimes even a banjo has to play 'second string' to more important things in life. :)

Thanks guys Rick. How is the Tradesmen goin? Seems like you have been real busy with enjoying it as I havent seen you around as much! Yeah I think Josh is "out of the woods" so to speak. We have to take him to the pediatrician for a quick blood test and to be weighed here this afternoon but I see big changes for the better for him already.

Eric, glad to hear Josh is doing better and by the way he's adorable...must take after his mom lol). I think I keep liking the Tradesman better everyday....it just feels like it was made for me and I love playing it. If it were stolen it would be replaced with another one immediately. Regards, Rick
