My trademark ending tabbed out in full

Wednesday, July 11, 2012 @12:33:33 PM

Hi BHO,

I recently offered to tab out my shambolic ending to Deputy Dalton for Laurence Diehl (you know, in case he needed any help from a novice with his pickin;-) ).

He clearly knew I was bluffing and tabbed it out for me instead.

It's pretty accurate if anyone's interested in learning it.  Check it out here:

Cheers

Andy

Brilliant! Even Bela can't stretch that far and I've never seen him laugh. Not for 8 bars anyway.

Andy, great signature ending mate.
I'm working on this but find the timing is hard to get 'on the money'.
Maybe Laurence could do a tabledit version to help ;-)

Keep 'em coming!

LOL, I wanted to ask you how you are liking your RK85, I am still trying to decide on my "forever banjo" or at least that is what I tell my wife it's called, I think I finally have here use to the idea that I will be spending 2,000 to 2,400 on it and that I will never buy another one again, well until I retire at least LOL. Then I'll play banjo to supplement my retirement income, I guess I better get use to the taste of canned cat food now LOL.

There's no such thing as a forever banjo! (you're wife doesn't need to know that though)

I love my RK85. It got a lot of crack and it has the maple sparkle I was looking for. A lot of people on the hangout don't like them because they're made in China. However, what's a working family man with expenses coming at him from every direction suppposed to do. I really think you get THE MOST banjo for your money with these little beauties. The only problem I've had with it ( apart from playing it to near divorce inducing amounts of time) was with how it was set up, out of the box. All the problems were easily solvable though. If you listen to any of my videos, the sound coming out of mine is slighlty improved by a Snuffy Smith 5/8 bridge. I would buy another one in a second - go for it!

Oh yeah - I forgot to say. My RK85 was up for 1000? (1500$) and I ended up paying 850? (1275$). If you were planning on spending 2400$, I reckon you'd have a good whack of cash left at the end of it to buy your wife something nice and a few cases of beer. Everyone's a winner!
