Megan Lynch and I will be closing out the year with a series of shows in my home stomping grounds of the greater San Francisco Bay Area. We'll also be leading an Intro to Jamming Workshop on Saturday, November 14th in Berkeley that's ideal for new players or for those unaccustomed to playing with others. Here's the lowdown:

November 14: Berkeley, CA: Bill and Megan teach "Surviving a Bluegrass Jam: A Crash Course for Beginners and Shy People", 1 to 3 p.m. at the new Freight and Salvage Coffeehouse, 2020 Addison Street. This workshop is open to all pickers and singers who want to gain more confidence playing with others, $25. November 14: Livermore, CA: Asbury United Methodist Church, 4373 East Avenue. Oak Grove - A Family Bluegrass Band (formerly the Schwartz Family Bluegrass Band) opens.
