Too many to mention, though my 1964 Ode bought new from Chuck Ogsbury has been a steadfast bluegrass friend, and the 1908 Fairbanks Imperial Electric no. 0 that I acquired in 1968 remains a favorite.

Again, just too many to mention, though Mississippi John Hurt and Doc Watson remain all-time favorites. If you catch me passively listening to recorded music, it's probably Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Telemann, Haydn, Mozart or Beethoven, though.

Breathing again!

Yep, Carmen had a radical hysterectomy last Tuesday to remove her cervical cancer. They were able to leave her ovaries, so at least she will not have to endure a premature menopause.
We got the pathology reports just now, and everything is great: no sign of its spread to the lymph nodes or vascular system or anywhere! Huzzah!
Now, we look forward to her daily post-operative improvements, and to the day when life returns to normal.
I am so relieved! Thanks to one and all for the outpouring of good wishes and positive thoughts. I am forever grateful.
