All the paperwork says I was born on this planet, and I have discovered it is not in my interest to contradict that. In my twenties I realized I was not being ostracized enough as an anglophone in Montreal, so I bought a banjo (after seeing Tommy Thompson live a couple of times). This worked pretty well until I moved to Toronto, when people would occasionally speak to me. But I have managed to correct that by not playing "banjo music", and using overdrive and wah pedals and the like to play jazz, blues, reggae, and so on. The debate now is which type of tree would be best to hang me from. I'm holding out for Honduras mahogany ...
