I started Playing Banjo in at the age of 19. In my younger days I entered and won many contests, including the National Bluegrass Banjo Championship in Winfield, KS. I have had the good fortune of performing with many great musicians; I have toured nationally and internationally with several fine bands, & I have done a great deal of studio work, including recording with many top recording artists as well as more recently a good bit of engineering and production work. I currently live in Centennial, Colorado where I perform with my own band, Jeff Scroggins Colorado, which features my son, Tristan Scroggins on the mandolin. I truly appreciate all of the wonderful opportunities that I have been afforded living this musical life; the amazing friends that I have made through the years; the places I have seen & the experiences I have had with those people in those places! How cool to play music with friends and loved ones, especially my son! I LOVE my kids, my family & my friends, travel, philosophy, cooking, good coffee, Colorado & the West (especially the Rocky Mountains), & PLAYING THE BANJO!!
