after years of stage fright and tonight getting brave enuf to try a solo
and my thumb pick kept slipping around becz my thumb was sweating ... someone suggested fiddle rosin ... someone suggested rock climber's chalk ...
what abt super glue ???????????????????... this was a night mare! i had a good chance of playing a pretty good melodic blackberry blossom and my damn pick kept slipping to where i had to stop to put it back in place to just slip again and eventually had to just stop!
of all the places for sweating to occur ... top of the thumb at the nail bed ... any other ideas besides a sedative and superglue? i never have trouble w/picks while practicing at home or in front of my teacher ....
